From November 8-17, 2024, the Sukhothai Loy Krathong Festival will light up Sukhothai Historical Park in Old Town, Sukhothai province, with its spectacular mix of ancient rituals and modern artistry. This much-loved celebration, rooted in a 700-year-old tradition, honours Phra Mae Khong Kha, the Goddess of Water, with prayers for prosperity and good fortune.
