Rosewood Bangkok embraces and celebrates the creative spirit and modern design of the bustling capital through a captivating art exhibition featuring the works of esteemed local artist Ajin Jonathan Ajinkit. The art showcase, ‘Dusk Till Dawn,’ promises to illuminate the artistic pulse of the city, capturing its vibrant essence and dynamic character.

The exhibition is hosted at the Art Gallery at Rosewood Bangkok hotel until January 7, 2024.

Ajin Jonathan Ajinkit, originating from Buri Ram province, has emerged as a creative force in contemporary art. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Srinakharinwirot University in Bangkok, followed by a master’s degree in Contemporary Art.

His evocative works have garnered international acclaim, finding homes in esteemed museums and private collections worldwide. Noteworthy among his recent exhibitions are ‘Spiritual Pollution’ hosted at 333 Gallery (2023), ‘As If It Never Existed’ showcased at Manycuts Artspace l Ari (2022), and ‘Body of Space’ presented at ICONLUXE, Icon Siam (2022).

The art showcase, ‘Dusk Till Dawn,’ promises to illuminate the artistic pulse of the city, capturing its vibrant essence and dynamic character.

At the Art Gallery, Rosewood Bangkok hotel, the exhibition ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ explores the concept of true colours under different light expressions. The artist creates works in the middle of the night under fluorescent light to separate the properties of colours seen by the human eye under natural light. Through such experimental painting, the artist aims to express the authentic spectrum of colours.

Within the vibrant collection of 12 art pieces showcased at Rosewood Bangkok, the colours in each masterpiece dynamically shift with the changing moods of the day and the interplay of light. Ajin Jonathan Ajinkit, celebrated for his adept fusion of conceptual brilliance and a rich color palette, has masterfully crafted these artworks.
