Chiang Mai – San Kamphaeng Hot Springs unveils ‘Iridescence Land’ Light Art Exhibition to light up the Green Season
San Kamphaeng Hot Springs in Chiang Mai Province will host “Vijit @ Chiang Mai: Colours of Light Part 2” from 20 to 28 July 2024, promising to captivate visitors with its theme, “Iridescence Land.” This light art exhibition, part of Thailand’s prestigious “Vijit” series, aims to highlight and enhance tourism during the Green Season.
The exhibition will feature ten distinct light and colour displays that fuse modern technology with traditional artistry. Highlights include the Rainbow Gate, Shimmering Lantern Tunnel, Rainbow Market, Iridescent Bubbles, and more. These installations are designed to reflect the sufficiency economy philosophy and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Lanna Kingdom while narrating the evolution of the San Kamphaeng Cooperative Village Project.
The event will run daily from 5pm to 10pm, transforming San Kamphaeng Hot Springs into an illuminated wonderland. Visitors can enjoy a walking tour of the exhibits and partake in cultural performances, local music, and a variety of community-driven booths and food stalls.
