Bangkok brunch has never been particularly shy about excess, but Carito’s is taking the idea somewhere smokier. After a sell-out soft launch, the Sukhumvit 22 restaurant has expanded its Steak Club to both Saturdays and Sundays, giving carnivores an entire weekend to settle in for 90 minutes of free-flow steak cooked over open flame.
The concept plays neatly into Carito’s new Thai-Latin direction, where the bright, punchy flavours of Latin America meet the heat and acidity of the Thai kitchen. Here, that means steak arriving hot from the grill, accompanied by chimichurri, nam prik num salsa and house-made sriracha — familiar condiments suddenly finding themselves in very good company.
Priced from THB 1,500++ per person, Steak Club includes two standard cuts, cooked to each guest’s preferred doneness and replenished on request throughout the 90-minute session. Those looking to raise the stakes can add THB 250++ for access to two premium cuts sourced locally and from Australia.

And while steak may be the headline act, Carito’s wisely understands that a proper brunch needs plenty happening around the edges.
The free-flow sides are unapologetically indulgent. Beef Fat Fried Rice comes in Original or Tom Yum versions, while Garlic Tater Tots, Sautéed Corn and Charred Broccolini keep the table crowded. A Pomelo Green Salad provides a welcome flash of freshness between rounds.
Each guest also chooses a starter: Baked Cheese Bread, Guacamole & Pork Rinds or Tiger Prawn Ceviche. Dessert keeps things appropriately Latin and uncomplicated, with churros bringing the meal to a crisp, sugary finish.

ARTS & CULTURE
Bangkok’s Hidden Temple
Bangkok has no shortage of magnificent temples, but some remain hidden in plain sight. Inside the former Front Palace, rarely opened Wat Phra Kaew Wang Na reveals a remarkable painted world of Buddhas, Hindu gods and celestial guardians, shaped by centuries of religious and artistic exchange.

Drinks can turn Steak Club into an even longer-feeling weekend affair. An additional THB 350++ brings free-flow non-alcoholic creations including the lychee-and-kaffir-lime Lichi-rita, tropical Maracuyá Colada, Som-sa Fizz and frozen Agua de Cola.
For THB 1,000++ per person, the drinks package moves into decidedly more spirited territory with free-flow house wines and wine-based cocktails. Sangria joins Kalimotxo — the wonderfully straightforward Spanish combination of red wine and cola — alongside a Strawberry Spritz. Cocktails and other alcoholic drinks can also be ordered à la carte.A juicy cut of steak, flame-grilled and served hot from the fire at Carito’s Steak Club.

Part of Sarnies Group, Carito’s is a modern Latin American restaurant drawing inspiration from culinary traditions across the continent, pairing its food with Latin American wines, cocktails and house-made ferments. Its evolving Thai-Latin approach adds another layer to the equation, particularly when smoke, chilli and grilled meat are involved.
Carito’s Steak Club runs every Saturday and Sunday, with seatings at 11am and 1pm. The 90-minute experience starts at THB 1,500++ per person, while children under 10 dine for THB 250++. Given that the original sessions sold out, booking ahead would be a sensible move.
